Kids café equipment problems: what to check before asking for help
“It does not work” leaves both the visitor and the responder guessing. First protect people if there is a safety concern. For equipment or use questions, identify the step that stopped, the affected device and what the visitor can no longer do.

Safety and ordinary technical help need different routes
For damage or another condition that may harm a child, stop use of the affected equipment or area and follow the venue’s emergency arrangements. Applicable play-facility safety diagnosis and return-to-use procedures are separate from a supplier’s software reply. Do not reopen a safety-restricted facility simply because its screen works again. Separate the symptom before taking action
| What the visitor sees | What to check and record | Who needs the information |
|---|---|---|
| Paid, but no printed sheet | Match the payment/order state with the print queue, displayed printer error and physical output. Do not ask for another payment or replay an uncertain job just because paper is missing. | Venue operator; payment or printer support according to the issue |
| The drawing is difficult to capture | Identify whether the difficulty is framing, lighting, submitting the image or viewing the result. Use a non-identifying drawing image when an example is needed; a child’s face is not needed to explain framing. | On-site guide first; app support for an app error |
| The game or display stops | Record the device, app step, visible message and whether other functions work. Follow the instructions for that model and setup; arbitrary account resets, data clearing or router changes can remove information needed to resolve the issue. | The responsible equipment or app supplier |

Send enough information, without exposing a customer
In an authorized support channel, provide the occurrence time, device/model, stopped step, exact visible error, effect on use and actions already taken with their results. Send order details only when needed through that channel; leave full receipts, contacts and children’s photos out of public posts and group chats.
Use one record for the handover
| Time / device | Stopped step / message | Impact / action / result / owner |

Confirm the original problem was resolved
After an authorized fix, confirm the original step and visible result using the normal equipment procedure. A status message and a sheet physically leaving the printer are different observations. Keep refund decisions with the authorized merchant. Before installation, agree who answers, when support is available, who can attend on site and what costs apply. [3]
