Self-service kids café duties: who does what each day?
A reservation system can take a booking; someone still has to prepare the room. Start a daily duty plan by listing the work, then give each item an owner, cover for absence and a way to confirm completion.

What an actual public operator separates
The public service standards for Kkumbitnarae Kids Café in Yeonsu separate facility safety, cleaning, consumables and visitor service. This is a staffed public venue’s published standard, not evidence of work time or staffing for an unattended shop. The useful lesson is to make these different kinds of work visible in your own plan. [1]
Put work at the point where it is needed
For an avatar experience, include paper and coloring supplies, capture guidance, equipment condition and the space used for movement. Decide which work needs a person on site and which questions can be handled remotely. A remote reply does not refill paper or clean the room. [2]
Give the next person a usable handover
The task column below is a proposed starting point. Add the person and backup, what counts as done, and how an unfinished item changes the next booking. Use role names in a shared planning copy; keep personal contact details in the protected contact list.
| When | Work and completion check | Owner / backup | Completion time / remaining issue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Before opening | Check the room, supplies, guidance and intended equipment operation. | ||
| Between bookings | Clear and clean used areas, replenish supplies and confirm readiness for the next group. | ||
| When help is needed | Identify the issue, contact the responsible person and record whether a visit is needed. | ||
| At closing | Follow equipment shutdown instructions, count supplies and hand over unresolved work. |
A planning worksheet to adapt to your venue; it is not a completed operating log or a statutory inspection form.

Record completed work and unfinished work separately
Record completion when someone has checked the result, not when a reminder was sent. Keep unresolved equipment or room problems open with an owner and next action. When activities, booking patterns or equipment change, record the work and time in a trial to judge the workload.
Keep operating work separate from statutory inspection
The Ministry’s play-facility guidance distinguishes inspection items, recording and applicable cycles. Match statutory duties to the facility and equipment actually installed. This duty sheet helps organize work; it does not replace the applicable inspection register, qualified inspection or required training. [3]
